Is there anything you feel needs to be addressed in training to help on the weekend? If so, what? Please remember that it is not the trainers role to coach set pieces, tactical positioning for young ages on the full field, or specific strategies for games (i.e. an offside trap, a high press, etc.). These nuances of the game can definitely help contribute to winning games but will take away too much valuable time at training from the players getting touches on the ball and developing ball mastery in the areas of dribbling, passing, shooting, etc. They can absolutely be addressed on the weekend as part of the team's warmup each week. Please leave these comments to connect to major themes of the season that are being addressed throughout the year.
