2024 CREDIT RECOVERY SUMMER SCHOOL
Location: Wheeling Park High School

Date: Monday, June 3, 2024 through Tuesday, June 18, 2024              
(Bus routes will be posted on Schoology)

Time: 7:30 am - 1:30 pm

Application Deadline:  Thursday, May 30, 2024

1. Students may attend Traditional Summer School at Wheeling Park High School to take a course for credit recovery to earn 1/2 credit.

2. Students are required to be in attendance each day. More than one absence will result being dropped from Summer School without credit for the course.

3. The State of West Virginia mandates that a student attend a minimum of 4050 minutes to receive credit.  Students cannot receive credit if they have not completed the required amount of time; therefore, there is no early dismissal for doctor, dentist, or other appointments.

4. Each student is responsible for the textbooks and other classroom materials and will be charged for damaged or lost textbooks.  No grade will be issued until textbooks and other materials are returned or payment is received for damage or loss.

5. Students are under the direct supervision of their instructor and are to remain with their class.  There will be a daily break.  During this time, students are expected to remain with class members and are not permitted to leave campus or return to their cars.  All students are expected to remain on campus from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm.

6. Appropriate attire is expected.  Wheeling Park High School "Dress Code" will be enforced.

7. Electronic devices for taking notes may be used with the permission of the instructor.  Other devices such as radios, hand-held video games, etc...are not allowed.

8.  Any infraction of the rules and regulations as outlined in the Wheeling Park High School Student Handbook will result in the student being dismissed immediately, there will be NO credit earned.

9.  Students who will be driving to the summer session must park in designated student areas.

10. For questions or to cancel registration, contact your counselor through Schoology.

You must have your ID#  to complete this application.
