As a mentor you will be regularly meeting with the student you are assigned. You will will help them navigate finishing high school along with college prep. You will be provided with a curriculum to help structure your meeting. How often and when you meet is totally up to you and your mentee, as we know you both have busy schedules. As a mentor, your role goes further than simply an academic relationship, we hope friendships will be made as well.
For tutors, there will be specific days each week that will be available at Gainesville High School. You would go on the days that best suit your schedule and choose the subject area you feel most comfortable tutoring in. Subjects may be reading, algebra, biology, etc.
