AGES Outreach - High School Workshop Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers to help with an in-person workshop for middle/high school students this September. Science Coach is a program where middle and high school students are coached to create advanced authentic science research projects. AGES will be working with Science Coach students in the St. Louis region who are interested in pursuing an engineering research project. The purpose of this workshop is to introduce students to the different disciplines of engineering and help them brainstorm and develop initial research plans. Grad students interested in helping will share a bit about their own engineering  discipline  (what it is, areas of study, why it is cool) with the students. Then we will have the opportunity to work with the students in small groups to help them brainstorm their own research ideas.

This event will be approximately 2-3 hours and will occur in early to mid-September.  More details will be coming soon! Please email rsuzanne@wustl.edu for more information.
