During your stay, we are committed to limiting the probability that you, our guest, or the Sisters who serve you, will be exposed to the COVID-19 virus. To assist in establishing the health and continued well-being of everyone at Bethany Retreat House, we are asking you to provide us with this completed questionnaire and acknowledgement of acceptance of the protective protocols we have set in place for your retreat. 1. If you have not been vaccinated against COVID-19, have you traveled on an airplane or other public transportation in the last 14 days? *
2. If you have not been vaccinated against COVID-19 were you planning on flying or using other public transportation to get to Bethany Retreat House? *

If you have any of the following symptoms as a new condition or an increase in a symptom caused by another illness (such as coughing in asthma), please take steps to test whether you may have been exposed to COVID-19: fever or chills or feeling feverish; cough, increase in cough, new cough; shortness of breath, difficulty breathing; fatigue; new muscle or body aches; headache; loss of taste or smell (one of first signs); sore throat; congestion or runny nose; nausea or vomiting or diarrhea.
If you answered “Yes” to any of questions 1-3, we request that you do NOT plan on attending this retreat.  If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please take steps to be tested to determine if you have been infected with the virus. If you are unable to attend this retreat due to exposure, we look forward to seeing you on a future retreat.
Protocols Implemented to Contain Spread of COVID-19 at Bethany Retreat House
Please review; by clicking the "Submit" button at the bottom of this list, you are formally accepting these protocols.

1.  All guests and employees will have their temperature taken daily by non-touch infrared thermometer, beginning at check in. A temperature of 100.4 or above is considered a fever by the CDC and may be the first presentment of illness. The guest will likely need to make arrangements to go home.  All fees would be returned.
2.  All guests and employees will wear protective face coverings that cover their mouths and noses at all times in public areas. In your room and outside you do not need to wear a face covering. In the Chapel, face coverings must be worn by all and be lifted for receiving Holy Communion. Likewise for dining, guests must wear their face coverings in the buffet line but will remove them for eating.
3.  Social distancing has proven effective in slowing the spread of COVID-19.  Therefore, we will provide floor markings and room arrangements that allow the appropriate 6-foot spacing, including in the dining room, chapel, rooms, and baths. If you are walking outside with another, your mask is not necessary, but the 6-foot social distancing is still in order.
