COPE is a group of enthusiastic and passionate peer educators that facilitate the connection between University of Miami students and the Counseling Center. Students who apply to COPE should have a general understanding and basic knowledge regarding mental health issues. Members should expect to allocate a minimum of two hours a week for COPE-related activities, including mandatory weekly meetings, tabling events, and preparing materials for events. Members work closely with the COPE Advisor/Assistant Director of Outreach Services for the Counseling Center, other Counseling Center Clinicians and Doctoral Psychology Interns.  Accepted members will begin membership in Spring 2024 and are expected to attend weekly meetings on Monday from 3:30-4:45 PM.
