A feature has been added to macOS Sonoma - the onscreen caps lock indicator.
While i am sure this may be useful for some, for me it is not, is there any way to disable it?

This feature is not useful for most users. Some of us use Caps Lock for the following reasons: 1) while playing games, 2) writing code, 3) writing scripts or other documents that will require the function. APPLE PLEASE REMOVE THIS ANNOYING FEATURE AS THIS DOES NOT HELP WHEN THERE IS ALREADY A LIGHT ON THE KEYBOARD!!!!!!!!!
This popup window is actually generated by my Logitech trackpad's driver. So I disabled it and now I finally have solved my issues. Thanks again for the Terminal commands to disable the blue icon as well.
I did report it. Perhaps soon a toggle will become available.
Please tell me someone already found a way to disable the indicator. Even if it's with a third party app.

OMG! I just noticed Apple added this godawful feature to iOS too!!!! I just noticed on my iPad when I hit caps lock and there that arrow was! Nooooooooooooo!!!!!!
CLEARLY MOST IRRITATING FEATURE THAT I GET ANNOYED EVERY OTHER MINUTE I USE MY LAPTOP. PLEASE APPLE REMOVE THIS FEATURE. THIS IS VERY VERY VERY ANNOYING AND FRUSTRATING TO USE.
The Terminal commands work for the small blue icon, but not for the big black on white popup that simultaneously appear on the main screen (see picture bottom below)...
