Support Women in the Workforce!
Warehouse Wednesdays take place the first and third Wednesday of each month and provide a perfect opportunity for volunteer groups of 8-12 individuals. Choose any 2–3-hour timeframe that suits your employee resource group or civic association, bring snacks and drinks if you’d like, and come ready to organize clothing, shoe, and personal care items donations to restock the mobile boutiques. Your group’s support will help the mobile services team ensure local women have everything they need to feel strong and confident as they take the next step in their career journey!
Warehouse Wednesday sessions kick off with a brief overview of the work of the organization by one of its leaders, a fun icebreaker to help your group get to know each other better, and a group photo for the social media pages – company t-shirts are welcome and comfortable clothing and shoes are encouraged. These events take place at our Sharpsburg location, which offers parking for about 10 cars. There is a refrigerator and water cooler onsite, reusable water bottles are encouraged. Companies are welcome to sign up for more than one event each year, as space permits. The financial donation requested per event is $250 and can be paid online via card or by invoice/check, if preferred. Sign your group up today!
