We are excited to welcome an international Panel of experts who will be sharing our cancer prevention and survivorship mission. The programme will begin with an introduction from Dr Kate Allen and Dr Giota Mitrou who will provide an introduction to the WCRF network and the importance of CUP Global to our work.

The speaker line up will feature the CUP Global Panel members, including:

  • Professor Lord John Krebs, UK - Chair
  • Professor Matty Weijenberg, NL - Deputy Chair
  • Professor Monica Baskin, US - representative of the cancer incidence work area
  • Dr Ellen Copson, UK - representative of the cancer survivors work area
  • Professor Sarah Lewis, UK - representative of the cancer mechanisms work area
  • Professor Jaap Seidell, NL - representative of the obesity work area
  • Professor Rajiv Chowdhury, US – global representative

We are also delighted to announce Professor Sir Michael Marmot, special advisor to CUP Global, will present cross-cutting issues as they apply to CUP Global, with a particular focus on health inequalities.

There will be opportunity to raise questions to our speakers on the new programme of work in a live Q&A session during the webinar.
