Food Resource Hotline

The free Food Resource Hotline (855-855-4626) is open Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm with extended hours on Wednesday from 8am-6pm. The Hotline is statewide, toll-free and available to all Coloradans, regardless of legal status, in 150+ languages. All caller information is confidential.

What help is available?

We can connect Colorado families and individuals to SNAP/food stamps, food pantries, free meal sites, WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) and other nutrition programs geared towards families, children and older adults.

The Food Resource Hotline:

  • Serves as a “one-stop” resource in English and Spanish
  • Helps you navigate federal and charitable food programs
  • Screens for all federal nutrition assistance programs
  • Assists with applying for SNAP, also known as food stamps, by phone
  • Provides helpful and thorough referrals based on each caller’s needs

What happens when I call?

Our food assistance navigators will ask you high-level screening questions and provide resources based on your unique situation and location. We’ll also help you apply for and access federal nutrition assistance programs like SNAP, also known as food stamps.

Hotline Referral Form for Partners

The Food Resource Hotline navigators screen Coloradans for federal nutrition programs (e.g. SNAP, WIC, TEFAP, NSLP). We provide one-on-one support in submitting applications, redeterminations and change reports for SNAP. We also refer Coloradans to food resources in their community (e.g. food pantries, meal sites) and provide important site information such as hours of operation, address and phone number.
