RSRCH 22 Forensic Data Analysis Research Report

This I.C.E. research report provides an overview of forensic data analysis, the methods available to investigate different forms of examinee misconduct, and current program practices. The report is organized into three main sections:

  • In the first section, we provide a general introduction to forensic data analysis along with an overview of the types of behaviors that can be detected using forensic data methods.
  • In the second section, we provide some example methodologies that can be used to detect each category of examinee misconduct and outline how credentialing bodies are currently using these approaches.
  • In the third and final section, we consider some possible uses for the results of forensic data analyses to maintain a credentialing program’s integrity.
