Leadership Challenge
Overview
Open to individuals and teams with up to five members.
The challenge is open to undergraduates, graduate students, and early-career professionals.
Awards will be given in three categories - best undergraduate video, best graduate student video, and best early-career professional video. In each category the winning entry (individual or team) will receive a $500 travel scholarship to attend a 2023 ASA meeting.
Entries will due by 11:59 ET on December 31, 2022.
Create a short video "about" the ASA which describes the ASA and highlights the benefit of membership. The videos must be between 2 minutes and 5 minutes in length. Videos will be judged on their effectiveness in describing the ASA and for their accuracy and creativity.
August, 2022 - Challenge announced at JSM 2022
August - December 2022 - Individuals or teams work on challenge.
October, 2022 - Virtual Professional Development Workshop for Leadership Challenge Participants.
December 31, 2022 Submissions due by 11:59 p.m. ET using this submission form.
