Lamber-Goodnow Scholarships

Scholarship Value: $1,000
Awards Available: 8

The Lamber-Goodnow Injury Law Team (an award-winning personal injury law firm serving Phoenix, Denver & Chicago) awards several academic scholarships to students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in a range of programs and schools.

1) College Scholarship - Two for $1,000 each

Each year, the Lamber-Goodnow Injury Law Team awards two scholarships to innovative and highly creative high school and college students. We seek essay submissions from students who are creative thinkers and problem solvers. Whether you are a star in your local community, an aspiring leader, a tech whiz, an engineer or a creative writer, we want to hear from you.

Creative thought, motivation and execution are important to us. Innovation is just as important in the legal process as it is in the rest of life. To make progress and improve upon our circumstances and surroundings, we must be willing to take risks that can influence and drive positive change. We want to support students who buck the trend, think outside of the box and deliver on this concept in everyday life and in school.

2) Nursing Scholarship - One for $1,000

When someone is injured, quality health care and nursing makes a real difference in people's lives. Unfortunately, the expense associated with a nursing degree can be cost-prohibitive for countless people who would be assets to the profession. As a result, each year, the Lamber-Goodnow Injury Law Team awards a $1,000 nursing scholarship to a driven, caring and compassionate future nurse.

3) Law School Scholarship - One for $1,000

Quality legal representation can have a meaningful impact on people's lives. On a large scale, judicial decisions that are made impact society at large. On a smaller but no less important scale, individual cases can help to right wrongs. Our justice system is a great one, but to remain great and to improve, it needs quality people in it.

The personal injury lawyers on the Lamber-Goodnow team want to see the best and most qualified individuals enter the legal profession regardless of economic circumstances. To help this cause, we created a law school scholarship.

4) Medical School Scholarship - One for $1,000

Quality physicians change lives. Of course, doctors can save and improve the quality of a person's life by providing the highest levels of care as a practitioner. Doctors can also change lives by exhibiting compassion, empathy and understanding to their patients.

We see the importance of both of these elements in nearly every one of our cases. For this reason, we want to see the most qualified individuals enter the field. This is the driver behind our medical school scholarship.

5) Physical Therapist / Occupational Therapist Scholarship - One for $1,000

Physical therapists and occupational therapists have one of the most important responsibilities in the healthcare industry: going through the day-to-day efforts of helping people rehabilitate and get back into life.

This work can be challenging on many levels. The specific exercises and programs themselves must be executed properly. Equally if not more important, however, is that physical and occupational therapists must be motivators for their patients. This rare combination is hard to find. When it happens, patients improve and their lives get better. We hear this time and again from our clients. This is why we want to see the highest-caliber people who are passionate about health care entering the field.

6) Summer College Scholarship - One for $1000

In addition to the above scholarships, the Lamber Goodnow injury law team awards two scholarships each: 1) one $1,000 college scholarship, and 2) one $1,000 law school scholarships.
