OUR PARTNERS AT UMASS AMHERST SURVEYED 1000 PEOPLE NATIONWIDE AND THOSE SURVEYED DID NOT GIVE THE PRESIDENT VERY HIGH MARKS WHEN IT COMES TO HANDLING THE ECONOMY. JUST 13% SAID HE’S HANDLING THE ISSUE VERY WELL, 23% SAID SOMEWHAT WELL 16% SAID NOT VERY WELL. AND 44% SAID HE’S NOT HANDLING THE ECONOMY VERY WELL AT ALL. THE NUMBERS WERE SIMILAR WHEN IT COMES TO HOW MR. BIDEN IS DEALING WITH INFLATION. AND WHEN YOU LOOK AT WHAT THOSE VOTERS ARE MOST CONCERNED ABOUT, THAT MAY BE MORE CONCERNING TO THE WHITE HOUSE. A new national poll reveals tough criticism for the president's handling of the economy and inflation, two of the top issues for voters.Just 13% of those polled said President Joe Biden was handling the economy "very well," while 44% said described his handling of the issue as "not well at all." Similarly, 10% said he was handling inflation "very well," while 47% said "not well at all." The UMass-Amherst/WCVB national poll is based on a survey of 1,133 people between May 31 and June 8.
