Stop by the Library to watch the screening of "In the Heights"! A film version of the Broadway musical in which Usnavi, a sympathetic New York bodega owner, saves every penny every day as he imagines and sings about a better life. In the Heights centers on a variety of characters living in the neighborhood of Washington Heights, on the northern tip of Manhattan. A 2021 American musical drama film directed by Jon M. Chu from a screenplay by Quiara Alegría Hudes based on the stage musical of the same name by Hudes and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
