The Black History Month Showcase: Black People Exist in the Future showcase will seek to address the question of what Blackness looks like in the far and immediate future by utilizing the dominant forms of artist expression that decadents of Africa have pioneered such as dance choreography, music, poetry, monologues, art and more.

Our hope is to immerse audiences into a multidimensional, multidisciplinary, kaleidoscopic vision of not only who we are as Black people; but where we hope to be. The showcase will be a hybrid of artistic expression: a fashion show, a concert, a poetry slam, a night at the theater, church, therapy but more importantly, it will be a spiritual journey into the past, present and future of Black existence.
