Webinar Details

Celebrity is hardly a new phenomenon; however, thanks to the digital age, it’s never been easier to become the next big thing. Young people in 2021 consume media in a rapidly-changing landscape, and experience a personalized digital experience every time they glance at a screen. These experiences are crafted to feature the latest influencers and kidfluencers, who expose children and teens to subtle and overt advertisements, as well as new social trends.

Sherri Hope Culver moderated a webinar on Wednesday, October 20th for “The Influencer Impact: How Social Media Stars and YouTube A-Listers Shape the Way Kids Think, Act, and Interact”. The panel featured distinguished experts that discussed the motivations and implications of the kidfluencer and influencer age, and how to learn more about helping your children thoughtfully and carefully navigating the world of young social media stars.
