Program Overview

  • 9-week undergraduate research fellowship at the University of California, Merced
  • Research experience in biophysics, biochemistry & bioengineering
  • Research & academic guidance and mentoring from CCBM faculty & graduate students
  • Special CCBM sessions, lectures, and meetings
  • UC Merced Summer Undergraduate Research Institute (SURI) cohort
  • Trainings, including safety training
  • Bootcamps (Matlab, Wetlab, more)
  • Workshops

Eligibility
Full-time undergraduate students with at least two semesters of college experience.

U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or permanent residency required to receive funding (NSF program requirements).
