Our vision is for a healthy and vibrant future for all Latino Coloradans.

The Latino Community Foundation of Colorado (LCFC) is a state-based philanthropic foundation—led by Latinos and for Latinos. We pursue civic, economic, and cultural opportunities that drive a more authentic narrative about Latinos in the state, and cement a healthy and vibrant future where all Latino Coloradans will prosper. LCFC’s mission is to work hand in hand with our diverse communities to create culturally responsive strategies that build influence, equity and opportunity for all Latino Coloradans.

2022 Annual Report

The Latino Community Foundation of Colorado (LCFC) proudly presents its 2022 Annual Report, marking 15 years of steadfast commitment to the Latino community. Celebrating its quinceañera, LCFC has invested $13 million and leveraged nearly $50 million in additional resources that have profoundly impacted thousands of Colorado families and communities. Even amid COVID-19 challenges, LCFC's accomplishments included the passage of HB-1356, establishing a $35 million fund for BIPOC/LGBTQ+ nonprofits, and the launch of a $20 million endowment campaign.

The Adelante Colorado program invested over $600,000 in 22 organizations, while other initiatives provided significant capital for community projects, aiding immigrants, refugees, and regional development efforts. With a focus on fostering strong leaders and empowering organizations, LCFC aims for enduring change by offering resources to expand community horizons. As LCFC steps into a promising future, they invite supporters to join in reshaping the Latino narrative in Colorado.

Small Nonprofit Infrastructure Grant Program

The Latino Community Foundation of Colorado (LCFC), in collaboration with the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) and 7 other Regional Access Partner (RAP) organizations, is administering the Small Nonprofit Infrastructure (NPI) Grant Program. This grant program is designed to fund small nonprofit organizations and community groups working in their communities who have historically been underrepresented, underserved, or under-resourced in Colorado.

One Community. One Legacy.

A Giving Campaign to Invest in Colorado’s Latino Community

Our growth is real. Since our start in 2017, LCFC has invested $13 million in Latino communities throughout Colorado. Our giving campaign centers on a $20 million community legacy endowment fund that will honor our past, embrace our present, and position us for a bright future for generations to come.

How we serve our community

  • Ayuda Colorado

Ayuda Colorado is specifically designed to support and stabilize Latino and targeted nonprofit organizations (LLS) and immigrant and refugee organizations (IRS) through direct grants, organizational capacity building, and resource acquisition.

  • Our Story Podcast

Our Story podcast is a show where we elevate and address issues pertinent to the Latino community in Colorado and beyond. We believe that transformative change is only possible when the collective power of the Latino community is forged together.

  • Communities of Color Loan Fund

The Colorado Communities of Color Loan Fund is a five-year revolving loan fund pilot project that will ensure access to capital to nonprofit organizations led by and serving communities of color.
