Craziness, suspense and intrigue!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💚💙💜❤️
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📘📗📕📙📓
World building: 🌏🌎🌍🌎
Character development: 👤👤👤👤👤

The setting: The city and Atlas’s private Island

The Hero: Atlas – owner of a bunch of businesses, some legal, most illegal, including a Casino. He also has extremely high stakes games at his private island. His father is in prison, his father was good at what he did until he got lazy and was eventually arrested. Atlas is much better than him.

The heroine: Theodora – a good girl who always does things for others before herself. She kept enabling and helping her sister Lucy even though Lucy doesn’t care for anyone but herself. In Heartbreak Me, the first book, Thea was abducted by Atlas and forced to work off money Lucy stole from him.

The love story: Atlas and Thea were falling for each other by the end of Heartbreak Me. Their romance began while Thea was working off Lucy’s debt. Thea did jobs for him, like romanced high stakes gamblers to get their minds off the game so they would lose.

I really enjoyed the first book because I liked the fact that Atlas was a strong character and the fact that Thea was working off her sister’s debt doing actual jobs. In a lot of books the heroine gets kidnapped and has to work off a debt in bed. That doesn’t seem very realistic as the Hero is usually a great looking millionaire so he could get any girl he wanted. It seems more realistic to want someone to work off debt doing something that would make the guy some money and that is what happened in the first book

I am going to give away this little bit of information since I had to read back in the first book to remember it (though I do have a bad memory). When Thea was sent to work on Atlas’s island, she got to know a millionaire named Nicholas. He was a nice guy who didn’t really want to gamble too much and went for a walk with Thea on the beach. I forgot who he was at the beginning of this book so that is all I am saying about him. Thea also was working off the debt in her old job running a fashionable clothing store. Since the owners of the store also owed Atlas money and there was some exchange that went on regarding that in the first book.

Like the first book, this was hot and steamy but not as steamy as some books. Though I did like the chemistry between Atlas and Theodora. I liked some of the things Atlas does and how he goes about trying to win her. Though I wasn’t to fond of his attitude and the way he tended to blame her for things that were not her fault. But overall, he was a great guy and super hot.

The story about Thea’s sister Lucy was a good one. If you read Heartbreak Me, you know that despite the fact Lucy was married to Atlas’s cousin Benji, she still is determined to get Altas to fall in love with her. She is obviously using Benji and she keeps saying that Thea is trying to steal Atlas from her, though she never actually had Atlas.

The character development is great in this book and we find out more about the side characters as well, like Thea’s best friend Tina, the girl she works with, Marissa and Sydney, the woman who works for Atlas. I read this book straight through in one sitting and really enjoyed it!

I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is the conclusion for the heartbreak duet and OMG I went through different moods here people!

Atlas realising his mistake

”I want you, Theadora.”

Thea being amazing and Atlas being a psychopath

”Don’t ever touch me again without my permission,” I say, then let go of his cock and push him away. I open the door with shaky hands, stepping out. I manage to get a few steps away before I turn back to him, he’s smiling as he watches me leave.

Fuck, did I just entice a mad man?

I’m going to admit in between Thea did make some questionable decisions which I was not happy about, but then later she FINALLY realised that she needs to stop worrying about others and take care of herself first.

And Atlas, boy you okay? Who taught you that kidnapping the woman you are in love with is the only way to get her?

But FINALLY he got it right towards the end! However I did wish that Thea would have let him woo her a little bit more. Also the need an epilogue 😭😭😭😭

Perfect Together

The conclusion to the Heartbreak Duet is a roller coaster of emotion and you won’t be able to put it down!

The road to their happiness was wrought with heartache and bloodshed. The angst was intense. So much came between them, but their love could not be broken.

Atlas can’t get past losing Benji. His anger and blame is misplaced. He’s lost the best thing he’s ever had. He’s about to figure out his mistake, but it may just be too late.

The chemistry between Atlas and Theodora is undeniable. Their like became hate because of the pain they both feel, but neither seems to able to walk away.

Every time it looks like they can move forward, some other obstacle gets in their way and tears them apart. Theodora’s connection with Atlas makes her a target. He’s a powerful man with many enemies. The threats are real.

They both seem to attract attention that they don’t want. Neither of them will walk away unscathed. Atlas will do what needs to be done to protect Theodora and eliminate anyone that threatens their happiness.

I was pulling for this couple. Just when I thought that had things worked out, something else would happen. Theodora was done with the blame game. She wasn’t going to accept being treated poorly. She wants his love and his respect. For once in his life, Atlas was going to have grovel a little and work for it.

Atlas was an alpha protective male. He bends for no one, until her. Watching him change as he realizes he can’t live without her, is the perfect transformation. He never imagined having a family and now all he wants is to have it all with her.

Two hearts that were broken have been made whole because of the love they share. The road was hard but their love was worth fighting for.

“I wonder if that is all we’ll be. Passion and goodbyes.”

Oh my- what a perfect encapsulation of the angst of this conclusion to the Heartbreak Duet. This is the story of two characters whose passion and need for one another knows no limits, but who somehow always seem to find themselves saying goodbye-as the result of the guardedness of each of their own hearts and as the result of the chaotic obstacles that keep breaking them apart. Heartbreak You is a fantastic conclusion to the story of Thea and Atlas- two heartbroken characters who can’t seem to find a way to mend.

At the end of Heartbreak You, Thea was left shattered. Not only was she traumatized by the gruesome events that unfolded in the book's finale resulting in the death of Atlas’s cousin Benji, but she’s also heartbroken. Just when she admitted her feelings to Atlas, just when it seemed like this relationship that started out with nefarious intentions and an elaborate kidnapping could actually turn into something real, Atlas leaves her- he (rather irrationally) blames her for all the events that unfolded, for the death of his beloved cousin. And it is utterly devastating, after all the angst, after all the dark dangers of book one, and Atlas is back to hating poor Thea. So, Thea does only what she can- she attempts to reclaim her life, purge the toxicity of her love for Altas and try to pick up the pieces of her world that have crumbled since they met. She leans on her best friend Tina, she sets new ambitions for her life and career, and she keeps her distance. Their friends, and their businesses, find a way to intersect, however- and just when Thea has started to repair her heart, she’s thrust back into the orbit of the force that is Atlas. She’s squashed her love and isn’t interested in anything more than civility, but Atlas is just now realizing the error of his ways - he’s lost the only thing good in his life, the only person that makes him feel. These two never made sense, but they soon discovered that love doesn’t have to make sense...and that light can somehow grow out of darkness. Can they find their way back to each other? And, as if that wasn’t challenging enough- psycho sister Lucy is still wreaking havoc on their fragile bond. Drama, heartache, danger, and more kidnappings make for an exciting conclusion to this fabulous finale!

This second half is OH SO ANGSTY. Their relationship really feels like one step forward and two steps back- they just can’t seem to be on the same page at the same time. And their heartbreaks and heartbeats can’t seem to get in sync- Thea got the bulk of heartbreak in the last book and early on, and here we get to see Atlas suffer as Thea does not make reconciliation easy on him in any way. Both of them make decisions that frustrated me at times, and their relationships can be volatile and toxic when they are both hurting, but their chemistry is just so powerful- and really visceral and sexy. You can feel the gravitational force between them.

They experience obstacle after obstacle, but really the biggest obstacle is themselves. These two have to not only figure out how to forgive and trust but they also have to find a way to shift a relationship that started out dark and messed up and toxic into a relationship that is healthy and SAFE (emotionally speaking) for them both. That is a Sisyphean task, and we get to see both of them evolve as the result. Atlas in particular does the work here- we still have our possessive, controlling alpha, but he works hard to prove the depths of his emotions. The man who refuses to bend finds a way to bend for her. And TL BRILLIANTLY juxtaposes that with Thea’s journey- the woman who has always bent too much learns to stand strong- on her own. She learns to demand for the treatment she deserves, she learns to refuse to bend when it damages her.

These two spend a lot of this book apart or at odds- so be prepared for a hard fought journey to their happiness. We get some delightful side stories with Tina and the fabulous Sydney, Atlas’s employee, and unfortunately we get bucket loads of Lucy. Ugh- Lucy is really so painful to read- she’s so unhinged and so destructive, and she really does a lot of damage in this book. She serves a very important role, so her presence is needed, but she grated on me. But all of this is part of the journey of trying to repair these two broken hearts.

This duet has been quite the wild ride. TL Smith has given us an angsty, emotional, and riveting dark love story that I could not get enough of. Atlas and Thea captivated me from start to finish, and I’ll definitely be picking up some other TL Smith books in the future!

3.5 stars

That was pretty good but very, very frustrating.
And that level of frustration tipped the scales down to 3 stars.

First off, Lucy, the evil bitch.

I srsly wanted to strangle her with my bare hands in book 1.
Here?
I just prayed my kindle would survive because I wanted to throw it against the wall so many times I've lost count.

I honestly couldn't understand why Thea kept helping her.
I understand family ties and all but that bitch wanted to kill her. Twice!
She shot Atlas and she destroyed everyone and everything she came in contact with.

And yet, nobody held her accountable?
Nobody realized she was completely nuts?

How the fuck is that possible?

Another reason for my headache was the romance.

I liked them in book 1 but I wanted some declaration from one side or another.
These two, however, kept going round in circles.
From not talking to each other to fucking like bunnies, then not talking and so on and so forth.

And after thinking about it, I reckon Thea was the one responsible for that.
She was the one who clearly didn't know what she wanted and she kept leading Atlas by the nose. Or his cock, should I say.

Because she knew he was crazy about her and yet she constantly rejected that fact.
She knew he was fucked up and what kind of lifestyle he had and she didn't even bother to put herself in his shoes, to try to understand him or his actions.

I know he did hurt her, true, and she was strong enough to avoid him and try to cut him out of her life but not once did she ask herself why their lives constantly intertwined.
Why she constantly let that happen. Or was more than okay with it.
There was simply no reflection on her part and it did bother me.
And when in chapter 26 (out of 29 or so) she broke things off with him yet again, I srsly wanted to slap her.

I understood why she did that but it was still frustrating as hell.

Because you would think they might have made some progress and yet again we're still back to square one.

Last but not least was Sydney.

My fucking god, how I hated her character.
She was cold, arrogant and snippy.
She hated Thea right from the get-go and was a real bitch to her
throughout book 1 and even worse in book 2.

She acted superior and big-headed towards everyone, Atlas included.
She didn't deserve Tina. Not even a bit.
I don't understand why anyone would like a person like this.
I read some comments where people were hoping for these to have a HEA and tbh I was hoping Tina would finally drop her bitchy ass and find someone better.
Ugh.

Summing up, I'd say I did like this book but I didn't love it.
I liked Thea but, again, I didn't love her and she started annoying me in this one.
Because she wasn't as smart as everyone thought she was.
And she wasn't strong.
And I like strong characters.
I like characters which grow throughout the story.
Like Atlas did.
He was a different man when I hit the end and I loved it.
Thea was all the time the same.

When it comes to romance, I'd say it wasn't bad but it wasn't great, either.
But I blame Thea for that.

There wasn't that much depth to their love or too many dimensions.
And any colour their story had came from the fucked up hero, and not the bland heroine.

Also, the lack of any meaningful conversation between them was the reason why the scales tipped down to 3 stars instead of 4.

All in all, that was a good duet but I guess I expected something different.

But I did like the style of writing and the pace so will deffo try other books from this author.

Whelp, finishing the duet gave my the worse book hangover! I cried with Theadora during the heartbreaks and was thrown off balance with some of the outcomes. Even with a mysterious island thrown in that reminds me of a certain news story that I heard not too long ago. There are Triggers FYI. The relationship continues on a roller coaster as both Theadora and Atlas discover themselves a little bit more. There are times I couldn't see how their relationship would continue. I would have probably moved to Iceland and never came back. The suspense, danger and betrayals are amped up in this final book and I am still recovering almost two days later. I read both books in under 24 hours because I just couldn't put it down. I was lost in Theadora and Atlas' World. If you like dark romance, bad boys that question your morals, and an HEA...You definitely need to read this duet!

'HeartBreak you' is the second book of the 'HeartBreak Duet' by T.L. Smith. Told in dual perspectives, get ready to meet Atlas and Thea once again!!

After the first part of this duet and the cliffhanger ending , this book had been one of my most anticipated books ever! And what a marvelous conclusion it was!

The story picks off right where the first book started. Atlas is back to resenting Thea for something that is never her fault. I hated the way he blamed her for everything and personally couldn't wait until he finally pulls his head out of his ass. Thea is heartbroken. The way he treats her in the starting, just broke my heart so bad for her. But then groveling that came later was worth it.

I loved this novel, and was addicted to the twists and turns the author provided us with. I devoured this one in one sitting and I bet you that you will do the same. I just couldn't stop reading once I started!!

An absolute recommendation to all the dark Romance lovers who love themes like blackmail and kidnapping.

The epic conclusion for the Heartbreak duet.

I‘ve been waiting for book 2 of this duet since I finished book 1. Book 1 ends with a cliffhanger and this book picks up right after that.

Thea is coping with the loss of Atlas who blaims her for his cousin and closest friends death. Thea‘s sister Lucy is a fixture in this book. After the events that happenend in book one this book turns to a slower pace. It is still as dramatic as the first one but in my opinion just a little bit to over the top. So much stuff happens that I couldn‘t quite believe. Also Lucy‘s character was even more dramatic as before I understand that she‘s the villain and is sick but for me it sometimes was to much.

Atlas changes his mind so much I got whiplash. He hates her, then he wants her and then he loves her. In my opinion Thea did the only sensible thing and took care of herself before she attempted to go back to him after his numerous rejections.

Other than that the story was great. Tina and Sydney deserve a happy ending too and I wish it would have been portrayed at the end.

4⭐️

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports

Our story didn't exist, it was broken before it began. Kisses were covered with lies. Lies were covered with kisses. Hat turned into lust. And lust turned into fantasy. That's what we were, a fantasy. Nothing more, nothing less. Now it's time to move one. But how can you when your heart wants to stay stuck in a fantasy? When even through all the lies and kisses, you still have lust.

This is the second book in the Heartbreak Duet. You need to read Heartbreak Me or you are going to be lost. This book is such a rollercoaster or emotions. I was on edge the entire time reading this book. This is the conclusion to Atlas and Theadora's story . Thea is trying to pick up the pieces of her life and she is dealing with Atlas whose emotions run so hot and cold. These two are both dealing with loss and lies and they have no choice but to find the truth. I so do not want to give anything away with this book and it is impossible to not tell you something and I'm afraid it might be a spoiler. I will say that you guys are in for one amazing conclusion to this book and a ride that you will soon never forget.

3.5 stars!!

This is book two of the “Heartbreak Duet”. This can not be read as a stand alone. This is the conclusion to Theodora and Atlas’s love story.

Whoa this book took right off!! I think the first half of this book had me like “Wtf”, the majority of the time. The second half was money. I fell back in love with Atlas. But the first half I couldn’t stand that man. He was annoying and stupid.

I think this book was choppy at the beginning. Like why the fuck is Atlas being a douche and then he all of a sudden decides to change his mind. But my problem was there was never any thought process. He was an asshat and then next page he changed his mind and here he is trying to get her back. Maybe because I love booked one so much it was hard to follow.

I love Atlas. I think he is super alphas, super sexy, a freaking bad ass. But he also can be a total idiot. Same with Sydney I love her and then she does something stupid and bitchy and I am confused. This book kind of took me
all over place. I will say the storyline was good.

Even with all that said I really enjoyed the characters. Good quick weekend read.

After the Epic cliffhanger in Heartbreak Me, Theadora Fitzgerald tries to pick up the pieces of her life. Atlas Hyde is so hot and cold with his emotions. “You can not be with someone and still want them, can’t you?” They are both dealing with loss, lies and need to get to the truth. Can they find what they are both looking for or will others come between them? Will Atlas finally admit his feelings? Can Thea truly ever move on with her life? From their unfortunate way of meeting to the roller coaster of emotions this will take you on. I love all the main and side characters! Well, with the exception of Lucy. I wanted wring her neck!! This duet is full of ups and downs, fighting feelings, deception and loved it all!! A little slower paced than book one but Atlas is worth it and it does pick up. Get Ready! Told in dual POV

Thea and Atlas have such an amazing story going for them that is fully packed with emotions and twists. The is the one who has taken care of everyone her whole life including her ungrateful little sister Lucy. Because of Lucy Thea is put on the radar of Atlas who is the perfect strong, broody, alpha who is used to controlling everything and everyone around him. They both have their broken backgrounds and rough start to work through and this story is an amazing ride that had so many unexpected twists in it that I truly wasn't sure what going to happen next. While Thea was an incredibly strong woman to begin with seeing her growth during this book was so heart warming and powerful. I truly loved every page of this read and my heart is feeling so full right now after having read this.

This is the 2nd book after Heart-break you, TLSmith does not disappoint and this is yet another book of hers i really did enjoy.

There was times where i hated Atlas and also times where i just loved him throughout the book as i would sometimes laugh with what he said or get really angry, my opinion on him kept changing. Theadora was just an innocent girl who made me feel sorry for her.

What a great conclusion to this duet. I was so unsure what the outcome would be but I have to say it was just what was needed. I totally love just how strong TL Smith writes her females. I mean most men didn't have the balls to stand up to Atlas Hyde but Theadora did just that.

This book is an emotional fuelled book and I don't mean tears. It's fuelled by hate, anger and jealousy. I did get a little upset but only because of the circumstance and situations that happen. Although you feel hate for some of the characters, you feel empathy for them when you find out the causes of their actions.

Amongst the hate and violence, lies a beautiful love story. One that is all consuming one you can't forget or deny. This is a brilliant conclusion to this duet and a total recommendfrom me.

The man is quite protective, “you’re an a**hole. If you ever threaten those around me again, I will have you effing killed.” I stand... " Atlas is not a very patient man, “you need to eat fast,” he says, licking his lips. “Because I’m ready for dessert right now.” I liked this book, I loved Atlas.

Heartbreak You by T.L. Smith is Book Two In the Heartbreak Duet. This is the Conclusion to Theodora and Atlas Story.

Their story was quite the story, it happened in the most perfectly imperfect way but happened in a way that you wouldn’t have it any other way. It was the way their story was meant to go as it fit who these characters are.

I read this book in one sitting and I loved every moment of being surrounded by this world. This author has a way of when you read her books, the rest of the world stops and you just become so absorbed in the world that she has created.

This book picks up directly where Book One ended, in the most jaw dropping way. I didn’t know what to expect.

Atlas can’t get past losing his cousin Benji. His anger and blame is misplaced. He’s lost the best thing he’s ever had. He’s about to figure out his mistake, but it may just be too late.

The chemistry between Atlas and Theodora is undeniable. Their lust became hate because of the pain they both feel, but neither seems to able to walk away. Although deep down, their connection they shared, was something I loved seeing continue to develop even though they had those obstacles along the way they had to face.

Every time it looks like they can move forward, some other obstacle gets in their way and tears them apart. Theodora’s connection with Atlas makes her a target. He’s a powerful man with many enemies. The threats are real.

The push and pull between these two was enough to have me addicted. The attraction between them is off the charts. They love each other but neither could get what had happened to figure it out.

Heartbreak You takes you on another wild rollercoaster ride with twists and turns around every corner. Atlas and Thea will break you and then put you back together you. The angst is so delicious and made me feel everything. This duet is a must read!!

This is the final book in the duet and we pick-up right in the middle of the bloody mess we were previously left in

Thea has had enough and removes herself from Atlas' orbit
Seems easy enough when he blames her for everything and has no qualms about making his loathing of her obvious

Turns out the rest of the monkeys didn't get the memo.

Stay strong Thea there is always a way out

This episode offers up a few moments of calm that gives the reader time to collect their emotions before the author slings us onto what I equate to a log ride - one moment we are just cruising along learning to adjust to the new norm slowly clacking our way to what we think will be the peak when suddenly we are tossed into a raging mess that immediately increases our BP only to find ourselves doused with a cold rush of WTH. Once the shock begins to wear off we start again -
I did enjoy the quieter moments when our tow stubborn leads attempted to pretend they were getting along.

I want to voice some things real quick
Sydney the stitches? That week of fear?
It was all your fault!
I'm not sure how your new "love" can still stomach standing beside you. Unlike the rest of them, I'm not ignoring that the choice regarding Ronnie was all YOU!

Lucy, you still sound selfish and twisted as duck!

That off my chest

Thea, I truly thought it might close there.
I was okay with that HEA.
You had been through enough but I think you are stronger for it.
I get it though, sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants and there is just no way around it.

Atlas you are a slow learner but you are trainable. May you never forget how rare the jewel that you hold in your hands truly is

Benji, you got this kiddo

Being back in the world of Theadora and Atlas in the second half of this incredible duet is like sipping a fine wine, you want to savour every tiny bit.

Hold on to your hats because you are going for a huge emotional and drama-filled ride with this story and where you never really know what’s going to happen. So much happens with everyone connected to the lead characters as well as Thea and Atlas that before you know it, bam, the end is coming up in this fast paced book.

I love how determined and much stronger Theodora is in this half of the duet. With everything she goes through and has been through she could have shut down and run away but she stands up for herself-the harder option. Atlas changes too but he is still as sexy, arrogant and controlling as he ever with his feelings for Thea seemingly turning on and off but you do witness him grow in different ways. Together their passion is as raw and exciting as ever but the question remains... will it be enough?

Hmm... the rage inside me about a certain annoying, no scratch that, evil and delusional character is intense, good... glad I got that out. This author is fabulous at building descriptions of each character but honestly the so called ‘bad’ ones? well, these characters she excels at painting such vivid images with her words.

A fabulous second half but I recommend you read Heart Me then Heartbreak You one after the other to enhance your enjoyment of the story.

Honestly? I seriously enjoyed Heartbreak Me but its ending was by far the weakest part of the book. And this picks right up where that one left off, building on that ending and making that the focus for much of this one. So I struggled a bit. I was still completely invested in seeing how this couple found their happily ever after, but this certainly didn't live up to the quality of the first book (more on that in a minute).

The story picks up right where Heartbreak Me left off, so it is essential that you read the two books in order. Personally, I think reading these one after the other would've enhanced my reading experience significantly; there's really no reason for this to be a duet, because both books are short and half of Heartbreak You is a wasted opportunity for more character development. That being said, I did enjoy the duet as a whole and this author knows how to deliver an interesting, intense, and unpredictable read. Atlas makes a great antihero; you know that he's a bad guy, but it's just so easy to overlook his sins. Thea is his perfect complement - she doesn't let Atlas push her around and makes him dig deeper.

The best part of Heartbreak Me is how engrossing the writing is, and I think that was lacking here. There's not really much relationship development in this; it's ALL drama and thus just didn't hold my interest in the same way. Our couple doesn't spend a ton of time on the page together, and they still had plenty of work to do on their relationship when the first book ended. If it's possible for a book to feel both rushed and drawn out, that's what the pacing is like here. It was drama upon drama with not much time spend on improving the relationship, and given how Atlas and Thea got started - he did kidnap her, after all - I think they needed that extra time. Ultimately, this doesn't live up to the promise of the first half but I was still happy to see them find their way together. The author's writing style does work for me in a lot of ways, so I'd definitely be curious to read more of her work. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review of this complicated romance.

I don’t even know where to start with my review, except holy crap and what a roller coaster ride of emotions. I can honestly say that this duet is bay far my favorite read of 2020. Atlas is infuriated with Thea and blames her for what happened to Benji even though everything that happened was something Atlas set in motion. Theadora is heartbroken and wants to move one from Atlas, but is that even possible? How do you leave your heart behind? Let’s not forget about Lucy, her crazy sister who has completely lost her mind, delusional at best and will do anything to get Atlas away from Thea.

The push and pull between Atlas and Thea is still there, the want, need and no one has ever made Atlas feel the way she does. When Thea’s life is in danger, Atlas will do anything to keep her safe, even kidnap her again. He’s never going to learn, Atlas has a hard time with normal and if he can’t figure that out, then he will lose Thea forever. So many obstacles to overcome, but the one thing for sure is that these two can’t stay away from each other, the pull is so intense they belong together, now if they can remove the obstacles they just might have a chance. Absolutely loved this book. I received a copy of this book.

I didn't think that their story could get any more crazier than it was in the first book but I guess its been awhile since I have read a T.L. Smith book and somehow forgot about her evil genius. Kidding, not kidding. T.L. Smith delivered with this duet that is for sure. This is one that I will HAVE to own in paperback for sure. I didn't think that Atlas and Thea could have anymore of a complicated story but I really should have considering the ending of the first.

This book had it all and is definitely not one to be missed. If you have read the first then I'm sure you already know and have already pre-ordered because you will be as much on pins and needles needing the conclusion to their story as I did. If you haven't checked it out then what are you waiting for???? This book is addicting, twisted, angsty, steamy, a roller coaster full of ups and downs, twists and turns and will have you on the edge of your seat. You will be emotionally invested and feeling as if you are experiencing it as well. You will want to commit acts of violence and find yourself an Atlas to climb. Just check it out, I really think this is one that if you like dark romances than you will LOVE this one!

I read Heartbreak You in one sitting before I even knew what was happening. I literally could not make myself stop if I wanted. Atlas and Thea were just everything I hoped they would be in this book and more. I just beyond words loved this book.

I HATE Lucy! I hate her with a passion. I feel she is the reason behind every problem Thea has. But Lucy proves how big Thea's heart is. I'm not sure anyone else would put up with the things she did from Lucy.

Thea has the biggest heart ever. He love and her trust is given even when it's not deserved but that's who she is. But when she's hit her limit it was great to see. She was strong and stood up for herself. She knew that the things that have been done to her and the way she was treated was wrong. She put herself first and told everyone else too bad.

Atlas is the hot, broody guy he was in Heartbreak Me, but had a completely different side I didn't see coming at all in this book. He's still Atlas so clearly he's going to put his foot in his mouth and be a grade-A jerk.

The push and pull between these two was enough to have me addicted. The attraction between them is off the charts. They love each other but neither could get their head out of their butts to figure it out.

Every single part of this book added something. Not one word was written just to be written. TL Smith has just blown all the expectations I had for this book out of the water. I love Atlas and Thea and wouldn't say no to more of them.

The Heartbreak Duet is amazing and a must read! Atlas and Thea are amazing and TL Smith delivers their story perfectly! I never wanted them to end.
