With a wealth of experience in matters of public policy, diversity, and economic development, Edmund’s sphere of influence has grown in the cannabis industry. Often recognized as New Jersey’s lead professional African American lobbyist in the cannabis space, Edmund has made public and podcast appearances on the topics of medical and adult-use cannabis, and business opportunities in cannabis with advocates Sativa Cross, Minorities for Medical Marijuana, and Mannada Events. He was recently named a “420 Trailblazer in Cannabis” by mjnewsnetwork.com and made Insider NJ’s top 100 Cannabis Insiders.


Kristin Jordan Executive Director at Asian Cannabis Roundtable

Kristin Jordan is the Founder and Executive Director of the Asian Cannabis Roundtable, an organization she created in 2017. In addition, Kristin served as the Director of Real Estate at Acreage Holdings. In that role, Kristin leads Acreage’s efforts with regard to selecting real estate sites for the company's national footprint of cultivation, processing and dispensary facilities, managing brokerage relationships, and negotiating and administering leases. Kristin also served as Senior Counsel in the Cannabis Practice Group at Greenspoon Marder. Earlier, she practiced real estate law at several boutique firms and was Real Estate Director at Kaplan, Inc., SoulCycle and other companies.

Kristin's passion for advancing cannabis reform has extended to a variety of professional and non-profit endeavors. She was the Founder of Mannada, a NYC-based cannabis professional event production company, which launched The Maze, a cannabis event listing newsletter, as well as industry events including the Cannabis Media Summit and Cannabis Law Summit. Kristin is also a co-founder of the NYC-based non-profit Cannabis Cultural Association and the Asian Cannabis Roundtable. Additionally, Kristin serves as a member of the New York State Bar Association Committee on Cannabis, the Minority Cannabis Business Association Policy Committee, and the National Cannabis Industry Association Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Kristin graduated from the State University at Albany with a BA degree and received her JD from the University of Richmond, T.C. Williams School of Law.


Jessie Gill, RN Cannabis Nurse at MarijuanaMommy.com

Jessie Gill, RN is a cannabis nurse who teaches patients and potential consumers about cannabis. She’s the founder of Marijuana Mommy, an online patient resource that reaches tens of thousands of unique monthly visitors and receives hundreds of thousands of views a year. Jessie’s expertise has been featured and cited in a variety of publications like Forbes, High Times, and Centennial Press. Her work has appeared in a variety of places like Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, and VICE. Her story has been highlighted on Viceland and in a variety of news features and documentaries. Jessie is a Director-At-Large for the American Cannabis Nurses Association and is on the speakers’ bureau for the Cannabis Nurses Network. Jessie teaches classes and speaks at conferences around the country. She’s also the founder of PrettyPipeShop.com, a virtual glass boutique dedicated to affordable glass pieces with feminine appeal.


Ken Wolski, RN, MPA Executive Director at Coalition for Medical Marijuana-New Jersey, Inc.

Ken Wolski is an American activist from New Jersey. Wolski resides in Trenton, New Jersey, and is the Executive Director of the Coalition for Medical Marijuana - New Jersey and a registered nurse. In 2012, Wolski ran for U.S. Senator from New Jersey as the nominee of the Green Party of New Jersey. The mission of the Coalition for Medical Marijuana–New Jersey (CMMNJ) is to educate the public about safe and legal access to medical marijuana for New Jersey patients who are under the care of licensed physicians and nurse practitioners.


Michael McQueeny Counsel at Foley Hoag LLP

As counsel in Foley Hoag's Cannabis practice, Michael McQueeny advises businesses, including investors, processors, distributors, retailers, and cultivators, on the regulation of the cannabis and CBD industry, with a specific focus on New Jersey and New York. Mike has considerable experience counseling clients regarding licensing of cannabis and CBD-related entities and advising them on federal and state legislation, regulations, and local laws governing the growth, processing, sale, and use of cannabis. He has also advised several of the larger multi-state operators and has spoken widely on topics affecting the industry on panels, in publications, and on television. Mike is also a Professor of Cannabis Law and Policy at New York Law School.

Harry Carpenter is a partner and cannabis advisory services practice co-leader based in the firm’s Livingston, New Jersey office, with over 20 years of experience. He specializes in audits, reviews, compilations, and consultation on general accounting, business strategy, operations, budgeting, and internal controls. He also provides litigation support and forensic accounting services. Harry serves as the New Jersey Practice Leader and Co-Chairman for the firm’s Cannabis Advisory Services Practice. Dominic DuCap, CAMS has been in the banking industry for over 13 years. He presently holds the position of Vice President / BSA Officer for BCB Bank. Within this role, Dominic helped establish the bank’s cannabis banking program which began in 2014. He continues to oversee the compliance process for the onboarding approval and ongoing reviews of BCB Bank’s cannabis customers in coordination with the bank’s designated MRB Specialist team.

A cannabis industry veteran with over 8 years in the field, Oleg's goal is to educate the public about the plant compounds in Lock & Key products and how they interact with the human body. He hails from Odessa, Ukraine, and immigrated to New York with his family in 1994. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Baruch College and is a well-respected member of the cannabis community, known for his leadership in promoting non-toxic, all-natural, plant-derived medicine. Oleg is often quoted by journalists and authors and is always happy to serve as a resource for those looking to expand cannabis education.

Nikolas Komyati is Bressler’s practice area leader for its cannabis group. He advises clients with regards to licensing, financial, regulatory and compliance issues for cannabis and hemp companies. Carrie Parikh Privacy Law Specialist

Carrie Parikh is a leading and highly recognized US Privacy and Cyber Security lawyer. She has served as the global legal lead for privacy at the largest hospitality company in the world, served as the first Chief Privacy Officer to the State of New Jersey and currently serves as the Chief Privacy Officer to New Jersey’s largest health insurer. Carrie regularly speaks and teaches throughout the US on privacy law and cybersecurity. She has been recognized by the American Bar Association as a Privacy Law Specialist and is one of few lawyers, throughout the globe, who has been designated as a Privacy Fellow by the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Carrie regularly volunteers in her community and is active in state and federal politics. She has two elementary-aged children. She has lived in Livingston for over ten years with her husband who was born and raised here. Her in-laws have lived in Livingston, in the same house, since the seventies. Carrie is appearing in her personal capacity as a resident of Livingston. Jeff Sternstein Marketing Consultant to Brands, Agency teams, and Healthcare start-ups

Jeff Sternstein has been marketing and advertising regulated products in the pharmaceutical, health and wellness, and nutritional products space for over 30 years, as a brand leader at companies like Novartis, and as a NY City Advertising Agency leader guiding companies like Biogen, Amgen, Sanofi, and Celgene.

His work in the healthcare space and participation in the industry’s first medical conference on the endocannabinoid system, has built his deep understanding of cannabis-related medical studies underway, the clinical science necessary to support claims, and why it has been so hard to conduct the clinical studies necessary to answer the questions so many people may have.


Jen Worringer Scientist

Jen Worringer is a dedicated scientist and quality management professional with an extensive background in Molecular Biology, cGMP manufacturing, FDA, DEA, ISO and global agency regulatory compliance and inspections. With over fourteen years of experience working in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing and personal products industries in Quality Control lab testing, Quality Assurance and Research & Development she brings a thorough understanding of quality management systems and compliance for businesses and providers nationally and internationally, and the challenges of developing and maintaining such processes and requirements while building out or scaling production. Most recently Jen has joined Trichome Analytical, a NJ third party testing laboratory as their Microbiology Advisor and Consulting Program Director.

Steve Gilberg is a veteran marketing professional and serial entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in the beverage industry, experiential marketing, and digital commerce. His clients included wholesalers and retailers, such as Bacardi, Brown Forman, Diageo, Southern Wine & Spirits, Charmer Sunbelt and Wines 'Til Sold Out. As the Chief Marketing Officer for The Craft Spirits Exchange, he helped create an online community dedicated to the discussion and sale of artisanal and craft spirits and cocktails. In 2017, Steve transiitoned to the developing opportunities being presented by the rapidly growing legal Cannabis industry and a few years later began participating in Vermont's legal Hemp program as a licensed grower and processor of CBD.
