Great app but needs tweaks

Great app and fulfils an important function. But it would be helpful to be able to adjust the timings if your cycle length varies and it would also be better if the self-check reminder stayed on your Lock Screen/showed as a wee red circle on the top right corner (whatever that’s called!) of the app icon. The reminder generally pops up at 9am, which I don’t imagine is a convenient time for many to do a self-check!

Developer Response ,

Hi Laura, we are happy you love the app, and you can adjust your cycle length by tapping the gear icon next to the period wheel. 😊 Could you please send an email to hello@knowyourlemons.org with your feature ideas? We have also changed the time to later in the day for you! Let us know what you think and if that has earned us 5 ⭐️. The better reviews, the more people will want to download and the more lives we can save, thanks so much!

I really wanted to love it, but not all cancerous lumps are hard!

Hi, I really wanted to love this app and recommend it to all my friends. I downloaded it and watched the ‘How to self-exam’ video and was really disappointed to hear that they split lumps into 3 groups: hard lumps like lemon seeds, soft lumps like peas and soft lump like beans. The video then classifies hard lumps as cancerous and soft lumps as either lymph nodes or milk lobes. This is really dangerous! Not all cancerous lumps are hard. My cancer was lobular breast cancer, which often doesn’t present as a lump. Mine did present as a lump but is was soft and squishy - more like a blister. I agree that not all lumps are cancer, but if I’d watched this video, I might not have checked it out. Please correct and update your video as I’d love to give you 5 stars! 😊

Great but stopped working ended up deleting due to lack of support to resolve my issue.

Never received a notification when it was time to do a breast check.

Then all of a sudden I couldn’t login. The pop up screen to enter my passcode didn’t appear. I contacted them via the help/support feature on the app but no one responded.

I then contacted them via instagram eventually I got a reply telling me to delete the app and reinstall it. That only worked for one login when I tried again I experienced the same issue. Contacted them again via instagram and got asked the usual questions, ensure that I’m using the latest version which I was. Told to delete the app which I explained I had. Then then sent me a link on how to delete the app (I’m a millennial).

I just deleted the app after months of little to no support. Just unfollowed them on instagram. I love the idea of the app but if it doesn’t work then there is no point.

On a hunt for replacement app.
