Virtual Career Fair Best Practices

RECRUITING HAS STARTED!

The Supply Chain & Information Systems Career Fair will be a three day event, DATE.

Students

Please note you will need to register for each day in order to participate; daily registration links were included in your welcome back email. You may also access student registration event links by visiting https://www.smeal.psu.edu/cscr/recruiting/fall-2022-supply-chain-information-systems-career-fair.

Please familiarize yourself with the platform by reviewing the 4 step "How It Works" process and 5 minute Tutorial video below. After registering for each event, employer booths will be available for you to search/filter by your major and type of position (Full-time, Internship, or Co-ops) prior to the actual virtual career fair. This allows you time to browse, research and plan your strategy prior to the actual event.

Each chat begins with a 1-on-1 text based chat. The employer and only the employer has the option to extend an invitation to video chat. The total time alloted with a text and video chat is 10 minutes. Take this opportunity to share your background, experience, and get all your questions answered. It will be the employers responsiblity to share the next steps of their recruiting process.

TIPS & TRICKS

This online chat will connect you directly with employers from the comfort of your home, office, smartphone or tablet.
Each event will promptly end at 4pm. If you are still in line, you will not have the opportunity to engage with the employer so plan accordingly.
