The Story of Two Freshwater Tidal Marshes

We are pleased to welcome Lamar Gore, to the Tulpehaking Nature Center. Lamar is the Refuge Manager of the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum but his first experience of connecting with tidal marshes was right here at the Abbott Marshlands where Lamar roamed frequently in his youth, having grown up 1 mile from the Nature Center’s location. Join us to hear Lamar’s reflections on the two marshes, how they are connected to people, and what we can do to walk with our communities to be more influential together.
Program will include a talk in the Tulpehaking Nature Center followed by the opportunity to join Lamar for a short walk in park.
