Submit an abstract for poster or oral in-person presentation at our Midwest Regional Meeting on October 14th, 2023!
Abstract submission will be open from May 23 - *extended until August 14.
Notification for oral and poster presentation acceptance will be sent out no later than September 11th.
2023 APSA Midwest Regional Meeting Abstract Submission Information
Eligibility to Submit:
Abstracts for research posters are being accepted from students at all levels of education and other non-student trainees (ex: postdocs, residents, fellows)
Abstracts must be submitted no later than midnight August 14, 2023
If selected for a poster or oral presentation, a presenter must be present in-person at the APSA Midwest Regional Meeting on October 14th, 2023
Review Process:
Abstract will be blinded, and a team of reviewers will grade abstracts
Notifications of acceptance for a poster presentation will be sent via email no later than: September 11
A small subset of abstracts will be invited for short oral presentations
Abstracts selected for an oral presentation will be notified via email no later than: September 11
Oral presentations should be ~8-10 minutes in length
Abstracts will be selected for oral presentations based on the following rubrics:
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top presenters, but awardees must be present at the end of day to receive the award in person.
