About this event

Coordinated by the Department of Community Resources and Services (DCRS), the goal of the Holiday Food Support Project is to increase food access and awareness of resources and services during this holiday season for families experiencing food insecurity and financial hardship. The program will provide $100 in direct food support (one per family - duplicate registrations will be cancelled). Registration is required; choose ONE of the following four Howard County locations for pickup between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m.:

• Elkridge 50+ Center: 6540 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge 21075

• North Laurel 50+ Center: 9411 Whiskey Bottom Road, Laurel 20723

• Howard Crossing Apartment Homes: 8732 Town and Country Boulevard, Ellicott City 21043

• Long Reach Village Center: 8775 Cloud Leap Court, Columbia 21045

A limited number of food resources will be available at each location; if your first choice is sold out, please choose another location. Bring a copy of the Eventbrite confirmation email with you (or show it on your phone) and plan to arrive no later than 5:30 p.m. Any supports not claimed by 5:30 p.m. will be forfeited.

This will be an outdoor event; wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines. In the event of rain or other inclement weather, the distribution will take place on Saturday, December 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
