Wilson Focus Facts
December 2020
Dear Families,
We find ourselves closing out the end of the 2020 school year asking ourselves,
"What Matters in 2020?"
What matters is our families, our schools, and our communities.
What matters is that we have continued to construct leaders and learners while facing challenges that we have never seen before.
What matters is we are all here for each other, working as a team.
What matters is knowing that we have been making history and these events will be read by future generations.
What matters is that we can be collectively proud of facing the many challenges and opportunities 2020 has brought to each of us.
What matters is knowing that as 2021 begins, we will be stronger and ready to move forward.
Wishing you and yours a safe and wonderful winter break!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Jacobs

REPORT CARDS & OPS PARENT PORTAL ACCESS
Please also note that you may access your students grades and homework completion at any time using the Omaha Public Schools Parent Portal. The grade book is updated approximately every two weeks.
Visit the Parent Portal website link below to sign up. You will need an activation key. Please contact Ms. Carole and ask her for your child's "Person GUID number".
ATTENDANCE MATTERS - NO ROAD BLOCKS!
At home students are then expected to use their agenda and watch all learning videos and complete assignments. Please help your child by setting daily routines, alarms on the ipad/alarm clock, and provide a place in the home to work and keep materials.
It may be helpful to do a daily check in with them to go over their agendas and make sure they have viewed all of their video lessons and completed their work for the day. Your child has a scheduled time weekly with the teacher for help if they are 100% remote and this is the time for them to get assistance. Working together between school and home will keep them on track and give us the results that matter!
