HCPSS & The Council of Elders 2021 Budget Basics Virtual Workshops

Saturdays Feb. 20, March 20, April 17, 9-10:30 a.m. – Online

The Council of Elders and the Howard County Public School System have partnered to sponsor a three-part series, 2021 Budget Basics Virtual Workshops.

Students in grades 3-12 and their families are invited to learn about electronic and virtual financial transactions and key financial principles. Topics include financial goal setting, balancing a bank account, and understanding interest rates.

• February 20: Kickoff – All participants meet together
• March 20: Participants meet together then separate by middle, high and adults; devices needed for each group
• April 17: Participants meet together then separate by elementary, middle, high and adults; devices needed for each group
