Register Now for the Virtual HoCo Rainbow Conference, to be Held May 15, 2021

Registration for the second virtual HoCo Rainbow Conference is now open. This free conference is designed to raise visibility and awareness of LGBTQ+ issues and provide education and support to the HCPSS community.

The event is open to everyone who wants to learn more about being supportive of the LGBTQ+ community, including HCPSS high school students, staff, parents/guardians and community members, as well as middle school students accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The conference will feature a keynote session with Mikah Meyer, founder of Outside Safe Space. Other speakers include author and trans activist Mimi Lemay, Maryland House Majority Leader Eric Luedtke, and representatives from the Matthew Shepard and Tyler Clementi foundations.

Registrants may select up to eight sessions among 26 concurrent sessions offered under the following topics:

While the conference is virtual, capacity is limited and registration is required. Register by completing this online form. During the week prior to the conference, registered attendees will receive an email from pride@hcpss.org with their conference schedule, as well as the links for each session.
