Nomination Criteria

Check back in spring 2024 for news about the 12th Women of Achievement celebration!

Depth, breadth, and quantity of relevant activity of the nominees will be considered when determining the recipient. The selection committee will assess the nominees based on the following criteria:

  • The nominee has made enduring contributions to the social, cultural, family, economic, educational, or political well-being of the community, state, or nation;

  • The nominee has a record of accomplishment in her chosen field (professional or volunteer);

  • The nominee is a recognized leader;

  • The nominee demonstrate qualities of character or thought which make her a role model for others - especially women;

  • The nominee is 18 years or older and currently reside, work, or volunteer in the Great Lakes Bay Region.
