Developing Leaders and Strengthening Families

Our Mission

Our mission is to transform communities by developing leaders and strengthening families through comprehensive faith-based programs and community partnerships.

Our Approach

The approach is practical—to use church and public school partnerships to promote positive social change in the community.

Who We Serve

We serve individuals and families in Southern Dallas County who connect with us through our Public Schools Outreach program and community partners.

Our Programs

We empower youth, adults and families through mentoring, education, career and family support services delivered through a network of programs.

Public Schools Outreach (PSO)

Through PSO, youth receive in-person and virtual mentoring, teen leadership development, student engagement and scholarships for graduating seniors. Additionally, students are eligible for essential social services that benefit them and their families. The mentoring program promotes messages of academic excellence, drug and alcohol prevention, healthy relationships and anti-violence/anti-bullying.

Technology, Education & Career Services (TECS)

Access to technology is essential to equipping individuals to be competitive in the marketplace. The TECS program offers GED, adult literacy, basic and advanced computer classes and career services where students are developed and equipped to transform the workplace.

Family Services

Family Services strengthens and empowers individuals and families to achieve social and economic stability. Our services assist with clothing, finances, food, pregnancy services and parenting classes.

Resale Store

The TTA Resale Store offers quality products at an affordable price. Our products include new and gently used clothing, shoes, furniture and household appliances. Our store inventory is replenished regularly through generous community donations. Every dollar earned is invested into successfully offering our services to the community.
