Will I have to be vaccinated to attend the 2021-22 season?

No, the Crunch have lifted the vaccine requirement to enter the Upstate Medical University Arena.


Do I have to show a negative COVID test?

No, you do not have to show a negative COVID test to enter the Upstate Medical University Arena.


Is there a bag policy?

A bag policy went into effect on January 1, 2022, per ASM Global.

Fans will be able to carry only the approved style and size bag, package or container into the venue and will be subject to a thorough search.

Approved bags include:
• clear bags made of plastic, vinyl or pvc and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" items in the bag must be in clear plastic bags (Ziploc bag or similar)
• one gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
• small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:
• purses larger than a clutch bag, hard or soft coolers, briefcases, luggage of any kind, computer bags, fanny packs, and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size
 
An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection. Please contact security at least 24 hours in advance to request an exception at 315-435-8042.


Are there additional building policies?

All concessions stands are now cashless. All major credit cards are accepted throughout the facility. Apple Pay, Android Pay and other touchless payment options are available in most locations.

The Oncenter parking lot is also cashless.


Are there additional safety measures?

Fans entering the Upstate Medical University Arena will be subject to bag checks and metal detectors before entering the game.

What happens if games are postponed?

Games that are postponed will rescheduled as quickly as possible.

Fans who purchased tickets to postponed games in Syracuse will be able to use those tickets for the make-up games. Single-game purchasers also have the option of exchanging their postponed game ticket for any other 2021-22 home game by visiting Guest Services on the second floor of the Upstate Medical University Arena or calling the Crunch office at 315-473-4444. Season ticket holders will use their original ticket for the postponed games for entry to the make-up games. Suite ticket holders along with flex package and partial package holders should contact their Crunch representative to select new games.
 

What will the venue capacity be for the 2021-22 season?
 
Based on current conditions, we plan to play all 38 home games with full or near-full capacity. Refer back to this page for updated information.
 

Will I have to wear a mask to games?
 
Masks are strongly recommended, but not required.


When can I purchase tickets for the 2022-23 season?
 
Full and Partial Season Tickets and Flex Packages for the 2022-23 season are on sale now and may be purchased over the phone at 315-473-4444.

Is the office open?

Guest Services is open inside the Upstate Medical University Arena. It is located on the second floor behind Section 222. To find it, enter through the State St. lobby and follow the signs. Guest Services will be staffed Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and during every game.

Guest Services is now the only Crunch office space accessible to the public. It's open for you to pick up merchandise orders, purchase and manage tickets, and get answers to any questions you may have.

What if a member of my party becomes overwhelmed by the arena atmosphere?
 
The Crunch Foundation partnered with The Assist to make sensory kits available at Crunch Games. Included in sensory kits are tools used to help make an overstimulating environment more comfortable such as antibacterial wipes, protective earmuffs, coloring supplies, sunglasses, and a fidget toy. Sensory kits are available at Guest Services located behind Section 222.
