Eagle’s Haymaker Trail

This trail was home to the 2013 Colorado High School Mountain biking State Championships.  It was professionally designed and built by a team out of Boulder, CO called  Momentum Trail Concepts.  $60,000 was set aside for the trail’s construction.  This trail even has some good man made features such as the section where you go up and over a fallen tree and on the descent there are some nice berms.

This trail is relatively smooth and doesn’t have much vertical change, making it an ideal training ride where one can even do multiple loops or a real leg burner when you feel the need for speed.  If you are coming down the Pool/Ice Rink Trail and want to do more, hang a left where the trails intersect and add the HaymakerTrail to give you an additional 5 miles (give or take)

Some nice press on this trail and effort to build it.
