We organize regular cleanups of Lake Eufaula to remove debris and waste from the lake's ecosystem. Our volunteers work tirelessly to ensure the lake remains clean and safe for all. Join us to make a difference!

Raising Awareness

We are dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of Lake Eufaula and its natural resources. Through our educational meetings, we strive to engage with individuals and organizations who share our passion for the lake's conservation and sustainable future.

Building A Community

Our organization aims to build a community of individuals and organizations who share a passion for Lake Eufaula's conservation and preservation. We work towards maintaining the ecological balance of the lake and ensuring its sustainable future by partnering with organizations like the TriRivers Waterway Development Association and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

How We Work

As a non-profit organization founded in 2009, we are dedicated to promoting, preserving, and educating people about the natural beauty and resources of Lake Eufaula, also known as the Walter F. George Reservoir. We organize regular cleanups of the lake, raise awareness about its importance, and build a community of individuals and organizations who share our passion for its conservation. To become a member, interested individuals can fill out a membership form and send it to Friends of Lake Eufaula, PO Box 142, Eufaula, AL 36072 with the $35 annual membership fee. You may also submit your membership application and pay your dues online by clicking the link below!
