Introduction To Powered Paragliding
Topic:
Take a journey through the evolution of the sport from the 1980’s when parachutes were adopted to homemade airplanes
Date and Time:
Thursday, August 20, 2020, starting at 19:00 Eastern Daylight Time (16:00 PDT; 17:00 MDT; 18:00 CDT; 13:00 HST; 15:00 AKDT; 16:00 Arizona; 23:00 GMT)
Brief Description:
Powered Paragliding is perhaps the safest form of solo flight – as well as being the least costly.
These early flights were with varying degrees of success, lasting merely seconds to a few minutes – contrasted to today’s technology which is safe, reliable, and accessible.
Today’s PPG Pilots routinely fly @ or above 10K AGL…using nothing more than a 2 stroke engine and a paraglider!
