The Dalton Free Public Library has a part-time Library Page position opening for up to 12 hours per week, with a salary of $15.06 per hour. This position performs basic library services and clerical work. Qualifications include High School Diploma or equivalent; customer service experience preferred; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

The Town of Dalton has a full-time opening for an Equipment Operator in the Department of Public Works. Duties include operating equipment involving the construction, repairing, cleaning and maintaining of Town roads, cemeteries, parks, sewer and drainage systems and the maintenance of vehicles and equipment.

Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, five years’ experience in road construction and maintenance; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid Class B CDL Driver’s License with an air brake endorsement and a 2A and 4G Hoisting License.

The Dalton Council on Aging is currently seeking a part-time van driver for our transportation program serving seniors and disabled, ranging from 4-19 hours per week. The candidate must have a valid driver’s license, excellent driving record and a gentle demeanor. Experience operating a chair lift system is preferred. Must submit a CORI waiver and pass a background check. Starting salary is $15.50 per hour.
