Walk, Bike, Bus... It's the Way to Go!
The Beaverton Safe Routes to School (SRTS) program is all about creating safe, convenient and fun opportunities for students to walk and roll (skateboard, bike, scooter and bus) to and from school. This is important for the health and safety of our kids and to foster the creation of livable, vibrant communities. The SRTS program aims to increases physical activity and improve unsafe walking and bicycling conditions. Find more information about who we are, what we do and why we do it!

Winter Walk and Roll
March 28th, 2024 Winter Walk and Roll 2024!
A heartfelt thank you to all 21 Beaverton schools for joining Winter Walk + Roll to School Day 2024 on Wednesday, March 13th! Your enthusiastic participation and the beautiful weather made it a memorable event. Students enjoyed starting their day moving with their friends in the fresh air. Let's continue to inspire one another to embrace the joy of walking and rolling, not just on special occasions, but every chance we get! Together, we're building a healthier, happier community one step (or pedal) at a time.

Congratulations to the winners of the 2024 Safe Routes to School Art Contest! Our theme this year was 'seen or be seen,' and we were blown away by the creative ways students showed how they can stay visible when they walk or bike at night!
