OVERVIEW: This report provides details regarding the Superintendent’s final recommendation for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 academic school year calendars. Following the January 13, 2022 Board report and January 27, 2022 Public Hearing, only minor adjustments were needed. The adjustments include more clearly identifying the three-hour early closing dates specifically intended to provide school-based staff with additional time to address increased workload and to support employee well-being.

RECOMMENDATION/FUTURE DIRECTION:
Approve the proposed 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 academic calendars.
