The LKMS PTA is looking for parent or family volunteers to help with key committee roles for the 2023-2024 school year! Our parent volunteers are the backbone of all of the events and activities that we are able to hold for all of the kids at Lime Kiln each year. The PTA roles we need to fill are listed below. Some are for one big event and others are for a multiple events throughout the year. Committees can have multiple people so grab a friend a split the work! The more help the better !!!! PTA Executive Board: President, Vice President, Secretary or Treasurer

PTA Membership/Donations: Help coordinate and promote the online LKMS PTA membership registration and the online donation processes that support the LKMS PTA’s activities throughout the school year.(2 needed)

PTA Council of Howard County Delegate: Attend the monthly PTA Council of Howard County Meetings and provide reports on any relevant information to the LKMS PTA. (2 needed)

Cultural Arts Chair: Coordinate Cultural Arts events throughout the school year.

HC DrugFree Rep: Serve as the LKMS representative and point of contact for HC DrugFree

Spirit Wear Chair: Coordinate Spirit Wear Promotions throughout the school year.

Gotta Eat Nights: Setup dates with local restaurants for fundraising throughout the year.

6th Grade Social Event: Organize and setup the 6th Grade Icebreaker (normally at the start of the school year)

8th Grade End of the Year Dance/Party: Organize and setup the 8th grade Dance (end of school year)

Lime Time Chair Person: Organize the School-Wide End of Year Celebration

Hospitality/Staff Appreciation Chair: Coordinate all Staff Events for the year
