Who doesn’t like a juicy burger with fries every once in a while?! Here are some ideas if you’ve got that hankering…

In an effort to support local restaurants, the Burrillville Business Network is hosting Burger Week this week, Sunday, January 10 through Saturday, January 16.  

Participating restaurants are located in and around Burrillville such as Cow’s Tail Deli and Creamery, Johnny’s Victory Diner and Serio’s Pizzarama; but also includes Hill’s Tavern in Chepachet and Quik Stop Deli in Slatersville. 

They are offering a variety of burger choices that all sound delicious like the “Smokehouse Burger” at Hill’s Tavern that includes swiss cheese, onion rings and drizzled with barbecue sauce or the “Miss Piggy” at Johnny’s Victory Diner that has pulled pork and coleslaw on the burger plus Johnny’s house-made honey sriracha glaze.  

We decided to try Cow’s Tail Deli for their Cow’s Tail Cheeseburger, an Angus burger (cooked medium) with mozzarella cheese, freshly shaved parma prosciutto (shaved as we watched!), roasted red peppers, and fresh basil drizzled with balsamic vinegar served on a freshly baked kaiser roll (baked locally). We had this with hand-cut Idaho French fries and yum… it was so good! They did not skimp on portions at all which we liked, and there was even enough left over for next day’s lunch. 

So head over to Burrillville for Burger Week to try one of your own before January 16th! More Burger Places in the Valley

You can find a great burger all around Rhode Island’s Blackstone Valley! For instance, you can also grab a burger at Stanley’s Famous Hamburgers in Central Falls that are famous for a reason, Craft Burgers & Beer in Pawtucket known for their specialty burgers (and sandwiches) that are piled sky-high for what some say is the best burger in Rhode Island. But, if  you prefer a veggie burger we’ve got that too. Many of the spots previously mentioned as well as Plouffe’s or Garden Grille in Pawtucket can serve it ’em real tasty for you!!
