Professional Staff

Jada Rasmussen is a new addition to the Kleinschmidt team as a Scientist Technician with 8 years of various field experience in the Columbia River and experience in Alaska working with spawning salmon and their habitats. She has experience in fish community sampling and handling, hatchery work, field data collection, and invasive fish suppression. She was a recipient of the AFS Hutton Scholarship and has worked in collaboration with Tribes in Washington State and Northern Idaho since the beginning of her fisheries career.

Jada is responsible for the Washington Office field supplies and is getting involved with projects in Kleinschmidt in Alaska, Washington, and Oregon.

Jada graduated from the University of Washington in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Aquatic and Fisheries Science.
