We're partnering with Westminster Free Clinic for a free Holiday Street Store! CSU Channel Islands invites students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to take part in a donation-based Holiday Street Store at Westminster Free Clinic's site in Oxnard.

Project: Located at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Oxnard (1800 S C St, Oxnard, CA 93033), Westminster Free Clinic provides weekly health services for uninsured families and individuals, in addition to clothing, food, educational resources, and more!

This event will create a store-like environment for community members to "shop" for donations collected in Ojai Hall 1934 from November 1 - December 10. Volunteers will assist in directing traffic and serve as store clerks for shoppers. Spanish and Mixtec-language knowledge will be highly beneficial, but not required of volunteers.

The Holiday Street Store to take place on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. Set-up will begin at 1:30 PM and the Street Store will be open to the community from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. We should finish clean-up by 6:00 pm.

Those interested in driving donations from CSUCI to the Holiday Street Store site can meet at Ojai Hall at 12:30 pm on December 14th. Otherwise, volunteers will meet at Westminster Free Clinic.

We highly encourage carpooling as parking is limited.
